Back in the day, the Twin Cities was the hardware buying hub, and Beisswenger’s Hardware was a member of Our Own Hardware, a hardware co-op. Our Own Hardware merged with HWI in 1997 to become Do It Best, the largest purchasing hardware group and the second biggest hardware wholesaler in the country.
Since then, Beisswenger’s has been a member of Do It Best , providing this hometown hardware store the buying power of more than 4,100 stores in 50 states and 45 countries. Because of the Do It Best relationship, Beisswenger’s is able to offer its customers a broad selection and availability of quality merchandise at lower prices.
